Some moments leave a deeper trace than others.What Remains explores the fragments that linger long after an experience has passed. The face emerges and dissolves throughout the composition, never fully revealing itself, much like a memory that can be felt more clearly than it can be recalled.Rather than portraying a person, this work reflects the emotional residue left behind by moments, relationships and experiences that continue to shape us long after they are gone.

Instead, the work seeks to capture a sense of awareness, vulnerability and confidence coexisting in the same moment. A body that occupies space without apology.Through contrast, texture and abstraction, the painting explores the beauty of being present — vulnerable, but never weak.
